I am walking in honor of my dear friend Michelle, who lost her battle with breast cancer on April 3, 2009, at the age of 37.
I am walking for my sisters and my nieces. I am walking for my mother and my aunts. I am walking for my girlfriends and their daughters. I am walking for my sons and my husband. I am walking for the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
I walk, because I can not walk away.

- I used to be a dancer, and then a bank manager. Now I'm a sahm. I went to bed one night childless, and woke up the next morning the mother of a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. Five months later, I became the biologic mommy of a 24 week preemie. My indoctrination into mommyhood was quick, and I am still trying to catch up. Feel free to leave comments on my posts.
